Welcome to Better Beef LLC

Better Beef LLC is located in central Kentucky 30 miles south of Lexington, and two miles east of the village of Paint Lick and 6 miles west of Berea.  It is owned by Earnie Kidd and Stan Pace.   Earnie, a life long resident of Berea, Kentucky is a grass farmer and produced cattle for 30 plus years.   Earnie and his family are also the owners of Kidd Farms which is one of the farms that provides cattle to Better Beef LLC.

Stan and his family are new to Kentucky.  They purchased land in the Paint Lick area in 2007.  Stan has spent the last 20 years in many different areas of agriculture from production to processing.  In 2007 he left his position as an Area Agriculture Agent with Mississippi State University to fulfill his life long dream to be a grass farmer and cattle producer.

Better Beef LLC produces all natural, grass-finished beef without added hormones or antibiotics.  We are deeply committed to providing the finest quality meat at prices that any family can afford. We work hard to produce the highest quality product - one that we are proud of.  We get a great deal of pleasure from knowing that our animals are living their lives on great forages in a free range environment.  These animals are processed by a local packer and are currently marketed through direct sales from the farm, the Berea Farmers Market and Happy Meadow Natural Food Store in Berea, Kentucky.
